Affiliate Disclosure

Bit Jackpot is free to read, and running an independent review site costs money. This page explains how we fund the work, so you can see exactly where our income comes from and, just as importantly, where it stops.

How affiliate links work

Some of the links to casinos on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to register or deposit with an operator, we may receive a commission from that operator, usually a share of revenue or a one-off referral fee. It does not cost you anything extra, and the terms you get are the same whether you arrive through us or type the address in directly. This is a common way review sites keep the lights on; what matters is what it is and is not allowed to influence.

The wall between money and scores

Commission never buys a rating. Our Jackpot Score is an editorial judgement built from a fixed, published formula, and no operator can pay to raise a number, soften a criticism, or earn a “top rated” label it has not earned on the evidence. A casino we hold a commercial arrangement with is scored on the same checklist as one we do not, and if that operator’s licence lapses or its payouts slow, the score falls regardless of the commercial relationship. The rules that keep this wall standing are set out in our editorial guidelines.

Clear labelling

Where content is paid for rather than editorial, we label it clearly as “ADVERTISEMENT” so you are never left guessing whether you are reading our opinion or someone else’s marketing. Affiliate links inside reviews are part of an editorial page whose rating was decided independently; genuine ad placements are marked as ads. If you are ever unsure which is which, assume the labelled version is correct and let us know if a label is missing.

Where we never place affiliate links

There is one part of the site that carries no affiliate links and no advertising at all: our responsible gambling pages. Helplines, self-exclusion tools, and self-check resources exist to help people, and monetising that flow would be a conflict of interest we are not willing to have. That space stays commercial-free, permanently.

Licensed operators only

We only carry affiliate links to operators we have reviewed and confirmed to be licensed at the issuing regulator’s register. We do not take commission from, or link to, casinos we cannot verify. If you would like to work with us commercially, the options and the rules are on our advertise page.

Finally, a reminder that applies everywhere on Bit Jackpot: gambling carries a house edge, the expected result of wagering over time is a loss, nothing here is financial or gambling advice, and you must be 18 or over to play.
